Now I know most people couldn’t say they have an attachment to or have feelings of love for an outhouse lol. I’m sure many of you can however think back and the little outhouse is nostalgic and part of your historical story.
This little outhouse in particular represents beautiful memories of family gatherings, lots of laughter, good food and fun on the little island this outhouse sits on. During the winter months when we get dumped on with snow, my memories of summertime adventures keep me going. I am honestly tired of shoveling already lol (anyone else?). So this morning when I woke at 4:30 am and looked outside to find it snowing again, it lead me to my easel and resulted in “Outhouse” – 6×6 acrylic mini on gallery wrapped canvas.
