Looking back I can say without hesitating that I never imagined this is where life was going to take me! I remember vividly how I nervously posted my first painting on my Facebook page and how flattered I was that people liked and shared it <3. Fast forward to today and here I am celebrating! MargieLewisArt.ca is LIVE and I want to welcome you to the launch of my art website and my first blog post! WOW! I have so many ideas whirling around in my head and I am so excited to share my “Artful Views” with you – hence the name of my blog!
I want to start by telling you why I created this blog. I have been posting regularly to Social Media and sharing my art journey there but I would like to reach a wider audience. Recently I was reminded that not everyone has Social Media accounts so my new website was born along with my blog!
Through MargieLewisArt.ca, I hope to bring you at least one or two weekly blog post (perhaps every Wednesday and/or Sunday) to share meaningful content about my works in progress, sneak peeks, and insightful revelations about my art processes. For those interested in learning some painting techniques, art tips or tools of the trade, I’m sure I will be writing about these as I explore new things from time to time. I will also share art related information that I think you might enjoy and find interesting. Sometimes I will feature other artwork and artists that inspire me, and maybe they will inspire you too. I am also known for my giveaways, so I’ll be sharing information about those here and occasionally, I will offer you special discounts!
I’d like to think of this blog space as a way to connect with you – kinda like sharing a conversation over coffee! If this is your first visit, check out my About section to learn more about me! It doesn’t show how much fun I am, or that I have an awesome sense of humour, but it tells a bit about my story and where I come from.
