Boil Up

We regularly make a trek into the woods or beach for a nice boil-up with family and friends all summer and sometimes all winter long . I painted “Boil-up” when I was practicing social distancing to keep our family, friends and neighbours safe from the dreaded COVID-19 virus. Of course being forced inside had me thinking about great memories with friends and family and how much I’m looking forward to a good old beach side boil up when this virus is behind us! This painting is based on a photo of one of the many scoffs I’ve had at the French Bread Oven in Coachman’s Cove and features our family’s well used bake pot! I hope my painting brings you wonderful memories of get togethers and gives you something to look forward to in better times.  Original 12×16 acrylic.
