When the day is done, there is no better feeling than tying the boat back up to the wharf and setting off for home for a meal of your fresh catch. I painted this after a trip out to catch some cod. It was also during the time the squid were plentiful on the squid jigging ground which is why the boat is still rigged up. This was one of my favourite images from that day. There’s a few cod in those beef buckets lol. Original 12×16 acrylic .
